68% of US Households Play Video Games

According to research by the Entertainment Software Association 68% of households in America play video games. The number of homes in the US playing video games has increased over three percent compared to last year.
Other findings in the survey show that 42% of American homes have a game console. I guess the other 25% of homes in America play on the PC. Adult gamers have been playing video games on average 12 years, a decrease from last year showing that more people are playing games.
The average gamer is 35 years old and the survey found that 67% of parents believe that parental controls are available in all recent video games. About half of all games sold are rated E for everyone. The survey also found that 43% of all gamers are female.
