Projectiondesign has unveiled a new projector at InfoComm 09 called the FL32. The device is designed for mission critical 24/7 operations and for use with simulation and visualization applications. The projector is the first solid-state LED-based projection system.
Available with either 1080p or WUXGA resolution options the LED lighting used in the projector is good for 100,000 hours. The FL32 is the firm's first projector to use ReaLED illumination technology.
The manufacturer says that the projector is designed to reduce visible image artifacts and reduces motion blur and smear. Colors are better separated as well. Pricing is unannounced at this time.
