Sprint Gets New Sanyo SCP-2700 Mobile Phone

Sprint has announced a new entry-level texting phone from Sanyo called the SCP-2700. The handset sports at full QWERTY keyboard and threaded text messaging, Internet access, email support, and a 1.3MP camera.
The screen on the phone is a 2.2-inch LCD and the device has an integrated speakerphone as well. The keyboard has a dedicated emoticon key for inserting smiley faces into messages and for inserting other symbols.
Other features of the phone include Bluetooth, Sprint Family Locator, Sprint Mobile Email work, and GPS Navigation. The phone costs $29.99 after instant and mail-in rebates with a new 2-year contract.
