The summer has barely started and many students only got out of school this week, but HP is already introducing new notebooks for the back to school season. One of the new notebooks is the HP Pavilion dv6z Artist Edition 2 notebook starting at $949.
The notebook features the design that won the MTV and HP notebook design contest in 2008. The design on the machine was inspired by the sea and sky in Okinawa, Japan. The machine is bundled with a software package from Corel.
The software package includes Video Studio X2, Corel Painter Sketchpad, and Corel Paint Shop Pro Photo X2. The machine also includes Magix Music Maker 14 to allow the creation of songs. The new notebook will launch on June 10th. HP also announced new printers including the HP Photosmart Plus all-in-one for $149 launching in August and the Photosmart C4780 at $129 launching in mid-July.
