Dynamism has offered a MID before that was pretty slick looking called the Viliv S5. The company has now announced the follow-up to that device called the Viliv X70. The new X70 has a 7-inch screen opposed to the 5-inch screen the S5 sports.
The X70 has a screen resolution of 1024 x 600 and stores data to a 32GB SSD. Under the tablet skin are netbook internals like an Intel Atom running at 1.33GHz. The miserly CPU and SSD allow the device to operate for five or more hours on a single charge for movie playback.
The machine runs Windows XP and supports 720p HD media playback. Other features include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and GPS functionality. The touchscreen supports haptics feedback and features a Cube UI overlay to organize programs into blocks of up to 36 programs per category. An integrated 3G HSPA modem is optional. The machine will sell for $599 starting out and availability is unknown at this time.
