There are probably a lot of people out there who would like a keyboard to take with them on the road, but don’t want to schlep around a full size keyboard. A new mobile keyboard called the Econo-Keys EK-76-TP has been unveiled that is compact and has a very unique feature.
The keyboard has a somewhat standard with a QWERTY layout and keys that appear to be sized more like a netbook keyboard than a notebook keyboard. Flip the keyboard over and there is a full-size touchpad on the back.
The keyboard is fully sealed to IP67 standards for resistance to dirt, dust, and water. The keyboard is fully sealed and has no crevices so it can be cleaned with hospital-grade disinfectants. The keyboard measures 8.91" x 3.54" x 0.38" and is compatible with Windows and Linux. There are 76 total keys including 12 function keys. I wouldn't call the keyboard cheap at $146, with the name Econo-keys; you might expect a budget offering.
