Consumers who are ready for the big digital transition happening on the 12th of this month are being reminded by Radio Shack to rescan their digital converter boxes to be able to pick up new broadcasts that come online.

The transition was originally set to happen in February, but was postponed because so many people were not ready. According to the government, we are about twice as ready for the transition now, but a massive number of homes around the country are still unprepared.

Many consumers who are ready may still find they can’t get broadcasts after the transition if they forget to rescan their converters or have incorrect connections on their TVs and converter boxes."
