Despite their attachment to the cutting-edge iPhone line, AT&T has a tendency to lag a little behind the curve in other areas of their service. Tethering and MMS capability are two features that have been missing from the iPhone line for a while now. Tethering just became an option for the iPhone with the latest spate of announcements, and we already know it's going to cost a bundle to actually use. With that in mind, a lot of people have figured that whatever MMS bundle AT&T released would cost an arm and a leg as well.

Thankfully this time the pessimists were wrong. News from the AT&T's latest FAQ (Via 9-to-5 Mac) has revealed that MMS access will come free to all customers who currently pay for a texting bundle. That means as soon as the 3.0 firmware update hits all of you iPhone users will be able to MMS to until your eyes bleed.
