Sony is still trying to lure people to adopt their admittedly slick looking VAIO P. The company still refuses to call the VAIO P a netbook, even though that is clearly, what the P is. The machine is now getting some new specs.
The machine now has an Intel Atom Z550 processor and new SSD solutions. Exactly how much storage the SSD crams inside is unknown. What we do know is that Sony claims the new SSD and CPU give it twice the performance on benchmarks.
I wonder if the CPU and SSD make the tiny machine costs twice as much as its expensive price was before. The machine also gets WiMax, which is really a non-feature considering only a scant few locations in America have WiMax.
