Play-Asia published a detailed review with photos and videos of the Sony PSP portable game console six days before the official launch in Japan.

Japanese Game Exporter Play-Asia got their hands on a Sony PSP through the charity auction Sony held, where they gave away 500 PSPs. They received the Sony PSP ValuePack that includes the Sony PSP console itself, a 100-240 Multi Voltage Power Supply, Battery Pack, Soft Pouch, Earphone & Remote Set, Memory Stick Duo 32MB and instructions manual (Japanese).
Important here the Multi Voltage Power adaptor, also the review shows that the Sony PSP can be switched to English Language menues at start-up, see photo. Along with that the Sony PSP is code-free for games an import of the SonyPSP from Japan is very possible.

Play-Asia had the Sony PSP listed with prices a couple of weeks ago. They have removed them. The PSP is available for pre-order, but nobody knows how much Play-Asia and also Lik-Sang will actually charge for exporting the portable Sony console. Originally Play-Asia posted a price of $219.90, which would have been an acceptable price. Also I just see that Play-Asia closed the Pre-Order on Sony PSPs. I guess we will see starting December 12th how the supply situation really is on the PSP for international gamers.
