Medis fuel cell power kits are able to power devices like cell phones and MP3 players from a fuel cell when battery power isn't available. Medis has announced that its Power Pack Xtreme Emergency Kit will debut on the Home Shopping Network on June 22.
The kit is an emergency power system based on fuel cells that gives emergency lighting and powers mobile products. The device can power your gear for several days when power from the grid isn’t available.
The kit includes the fuel cell and a 14-led flashlight that will run for many hours per charge. The fuel cell produces 20 watt-hours of energy with no measurable heat. There is no word on the pricing of the device on the HSN network.
