Toshiba Unveils L Series Notebooks

Toshiba has announced a new line of notebook computers called the Satellite L Series. The new notebook line is designed for users on a budget and shoppers looking for a computer to send to school with students next year. The series starts at $549.99.
The L series has four models including the 14-inch L510/L515, the 15.6-inch L500, 16-inch L505, and the 17.3-inch L550/L555 notebooks. The line has HD resolution TruBrite widescreen displays, storage ranging from 250GB to 500GB, and wireless connectivity.
Processors for the line range from AMD parts to the latest Intel CPUs. The L series notebooks with screens 15.6-inches and larger have an integrated 10-key numerical keypad. Some of the models in the range also feature discrete ATI 3100 graphics. The machines are available today with the L500/505 models starting at $549.99, the L510/515 starting at $649.99, and the L550/555 starting at $649.99.
