Gateway SX and DX Back to School Desktop PC

Gateway typically churns out netbooks and new notebook systems. Today the company is announcing a couple of new desktop PCs called the SX and DX series. The SX line is small form factor machines and the DX is a mini-tower line.
The SX line is aimed at the user looking for a machine for general productivity and casual gaming. The machines use Intel Core 2 Quad Q8200 processor and 4GB of RAM with prices starting at $499.99. Storage for the small machine is to a 640GB HDD and the system has an integrated optical drive with DVD burner.
The DX series starts at $749.99 and uses an AMD Phenom X4 9750 CPU at 2.4GHz and ATI Radeon HD 4650 graphics. The machine has 8GB of RAM and a 1TB SATA HDD. For $899.99 the DX4820-02 offers an Intel Core 2 Quad, NVIDIA G210 graphics, 8GB of RAM, and a 750GB HDD along with a Gateway 23-inch LCD.
