According to Digitimes Samsung revealed some interesting sales numbers for Samsung LED HDTVs last week.
Samsung has already sold 400,000 LED TVs globally since April, which amounts to a 90% market share.
Samsung projects to sell 2,000,000 LED HDTVs in 2009. Samsung says that market research sees 20% of Americans willing to pay premium for LED TVs.
Samsung is heavily marketing LED backlit panel technology and obviously it pays off. LG, Sony, Sharp and Panasonic are left in the dust. Lower cost vendors are actually not getting into the LED TV game until next year.
LED TVs will be huge this holiday shopping season. Samsung has three series of LED TVs already on the market with the Series 8, Series 7, and Series 6. The current ultimate Samsung LED TV is the UN55B8000. You can buy the latest Samsung LED TVs on Amazon.com.
