I love coffee, like all geeks. Not necessarily Weasel puked Coffee, but Austrian and Italian beans. Now a new study on mice apparently proves that Coffee delays the progress of Alzheimer's disease. So pour yourself another cup!

Coffee has already been linked to some sort of protection against Alzheimer's, but the new study actually shows that caffeine has more impact against this nasty disease.
Researchers from the University of South Florida studied 55 mice that developed Alzheimer's like dementia and then got feed with caffeine spiked water aka Red Bull. A test group of the mice got just water.
The Coffee drinking mice were performing a lot better on tests of memory and thinking than mice given water. Translated to humans you should drink at least six espressos per day. This surely is not good for something else in your body, but hey you keep remembering everything.
The new study is published today in the Journal of Alzheimer’s Disease. More details on Times Online.
