I am not sure what is going on with the Mitsubishi Laser TV LaserVue. Somehow it got rather quiet despite some recent manufacturing woes around the Laser TV technology. In the meantime Samsung hammers LED TV Technology into our heads and we are almost forgetting the cool Laser TV technology. Afterall Laser TVs give us twice the color, are energy efficient, 3D ready and can be housed in a thin canvas.

I was monitoring the prices on Amazon for the Mitsubishi L65A90 65-Inch LaserVue HDTV and now Amazon is selling it for $6,499 instead of the $6,999 price the unit has had since introduction last November.

It appears also that Mitsubishi never actually released the announced 73 inch Laser TV. Why isn't Mitsubishi more agressively pushing its Laser TVs?
