Hitachi Announces Trio of Storage Solutions

Hitachi announced three new consumer storage solutions this week that came from the purchase of SimpleTech earlier this year. The new products include the SimpleTough USB drive, the SimpleDrive mini, and the SimpleNet.
The SimpleTough drive is a water and shock resistant drive that is designed to survive a three meter drop, withstand the pressure of a pone ton truck, and more. The drive has a folding USB cable that it attached permanently. It sells for $99.99 for 250GB, $119.99 for 320GB, and $149.99 for 500GB.
The SimpleDrive Mini is a small portable USB drive available in different colors. The 250GB drive comes in red wine, the 320GB is blue dusk, and carbon fiber look for the 500GB drive. Pricing is $89.99 to $139.99. The SimpleNet is a flash drive and a network adapter that allows for easy sharing of storage space and drive content on the Internet. The device sells for $79.
