AT&T and Nokia Unveil Nokia Surge

AT&T and Nokia announced a new handset for users who are into social networking called the Nokia Surge. The smartphone will be available online and in stores on July 19. AT&T says the device is perfect for active consumers who want to stay connected with IM, text, and email.
The Surge has a slide-out QWERTY keyboard and is slim, stylish, and runs Symbian S60 OS. The handset has a messaging suite built-in and can browse the Internet with full HTML capability and support for Flash content.
The phone can also view YouTube videos and has Facebook pre-loaded along with the JuiceCaster app. The handset will launch at a price of $79.99 and supported email and more. Other features include a 2-megapixel camera, and support for AT&T service like mobile music and Navigator.
