iKey has introduced a new keyboard called the AK-39 that is designed to be worn on the arm without restricting movement. The keyboard is rugged and meets MIL-461 standards for use in harsh EMI environments.
The keyboard has Force Sensing Resistor (FSR) technology for mouse control with left and right button functionality. The keyboard is backlit with green LEDs that can be adjusted for night vision goggle use. The device has a built-in USB cable with left and right side configurations.
The device is lightweight and uses a Velcro arm strap to fit over clothing and has a curved back to make wearing the keyboard more comfortable. One style also includes a thumb loop for added stability. The keyboard measures 6.91" x 3.06" x 0.81" and has a 39-key QWERTY layout.
