Verizon Wireless Launches Novatel Wireless PC770

Verizon Wireless has announced its latest PC cards for mobile broadband called the Novatel Pc770. The 2-in-1 PC card offers high speed mobile web access and offers access to downloaded files on the go. The device will be offered in PC Card and ExpressCard formats.
The cards operate on the Verizon EVDO Rev A network and use NovaSpeed technology for simultaneous high-speed downloads. The cards also include VZAccess Manager software. The 2-in-1 aspect of the card is an included adapter that lets the card be used in an ExpressCard or PC peripheral interface slot.
The card will be offered in Verizon stores on August 2nd for $99.99 after a $50 mail-in rebate and a new 2-year agreement. The card should be good for users and businesses that have computers with both types of add on card notebook interfaces.
