RIM has unveiled its latest Blackberry device called the Curve 8520. The device has a 2MP digital camera that can record video and supports Blackberry App world. Other features include Bluetooth, email, web browsing, 256MB of flash memory and more. The phone measures 4.29" x 2.36" x 0.54" and weighs 3.73 ounces.
The battery in the device is an 1150mAhr unit good for 4.5 hours of talk time and 17 days of standby. The display is a 2.64-inch unit with a resolution of 320 x 240. The phone operates on quad-band 850/900/1800/1900 MHz GSM/GPRS networks and EDGE networks.
The phone also features a 35 key backlit QWERTY keyboard and a track pad for navigation. The track pad is more like what we are used to seeing on a notebook than a mobile phone and replaces the familiar but breakage prone track ball.
