The CES 2010 will have an Apple exhibition hall. This news hit right after Apple left MacWorld for good. The so called iLounge Pavilion, co-sponsored by CEA and iLounge.com, will feature manufacturers and retailers of iPod and iPhone accessories, related products and services, and based on requests from vendors, will now grow to include leading Mac developers and retailers as well.
There has been no comment by Apple that they would join CES 2010. Today the WSJ breaks a rumor that Apple would attend CES 2010. The story says that Gary Shapiro from the CEA (CES organizers) has said so at a dinner. Engadget has a report up saying the opposite.
Apparently former Engadget editor Ryan Block was at this dinner too and was listening to what Gary Shapiro said about Apple and CES 2010.
His take is that Shapiro never said that Apple would officially be at the CES 2010. Like every large technology company they will have visitors, especially now when their partners are exhibiting at CES 2010.
More CES 2010.
