It's nice to see that, just like the rest of us, Apple needs an occasional trip down south to clear its head. The Cupertino-based gadget maker has just launched an iTunes store in Mexico. You can check it out here. This new store will feature an expanded selection of Mexican popular music from hundreds of different artists.
In addition to Mexican artists, songs from musicians and bands from all around the world will also be available. The cost per song will be 12 pesos, and the average album will cost 120 pesos. Apple has already started selling gift cards for the new Mexican iTunes in a variety of local stores. The cards come in denominations of 200, 300, and 600 pesos.
