I have used several Logitech Harmony remotes over the years and by far my favorite one is the Harmony One. I especially like the way the One feels in the hand. Logitech has announced its latest Harmony remote called the Harmony 900. Amazon already offers the Harmony 900 for Pre-Order.
The remote looks very much like the One and appears to have the same button layout.

The big difference between the two is that the 900 is designed to control all your components when they are out of site. The 900 ships with a RF extender that you sit inside your component cabinet and controls devices via RF without having to tape a little transmitter to each of your components.

The Logitech Harmony 900 can control components up to 100 feet away with RF technology. Just place the IR blaster and mini blasters near the equipment you want to control to turn RF signals into IR commands your devices understand. You can replace up to 15 other remotes. And the Logitech software finds the control codes for your equipment from their online database of more than 5,000 brands and 225,000 devices.

The Logitech Harmony 900 offers the same activities and device control features found on the other Harmony remotes and programs via software installed on your computer. The remote is set to debut in September for $399.99. You can pre-order the new Logitech Harmony 900 already on Amazon.com.
