It has been a while now since Logitech launched its G25 racing wheel and it was hands down the best force feedback racing wheel I ever tried. Logitech has announced that it now has a follow up to the G25 called the G27.
The new racing wheel has a dual motor force feedback mechanism with helical gearing. The wheel also sports RPM and shift indication LEDs and sixteen programmable buttons. The wheel also features a D-pad and 900 degrees of wheel rotation.
Other features include a six-speed shifter with push down reverse, paddle shifters and a realistic 11-inch wheel with a leather wrapped rim. The pedals include a clutch and are made from steel. Two sets of steel ball bearings are used in the wheel shaft and the wheel, shifter, and pedals can be bolted to a hard surface. The wheel supports the PC, PS2, and PS3. The wheel can be preordered now for $299.99.
