Acer has unveiled a new nettop for business users called the Veriton N260G. The little nettop may be aimed at business users, but I think many consumers will be interested in its svelte dimensions as well. The nettop will sell for $399.
The small nettop can be stood on its retractable stand vertically to save desk space or it can be attached to the back of a LCD for an all-in-one style machine. Inside the tiny chassis are an Intel Atom N280 CPU and the Intel GN40 Express chipset.
Other features include Windows XP Pro, 2 GB of DDR2 RAM, 160GB HDD, Intel GMA 4500M graphics, and an HDMI out. The little machine has six USB ports, and memory card reader, Wi-Fi, and a PCI Express Mini 1.1 x 1 slot for expansion. It also ships with a mouse and a keyboard.
