Sometimes when you are shopping for a new gaming computer the decision, on which one to go with comes down to the little things. Bluetooth is a very common feature on notebooks, but you don’t see it on as many desktop computers. Another big problem is that the USB ports on the front of many desktops don’t have enough power to run high-power peripherals like USB video cards and external optical drives.
IBuyPower has announced a cool new option for its line of desktop gaming computers called the USB internal Expansion System. The device is an option with any tower PC from the company and costs either $14 or $24 depending on if you go with the Bluetooth version or not.
The little device is an internal expansion card that has a Molex connector for power and boosts the power that gets to the front USB ports by connecting the USB header cables to it rather than the mainboard. The device also adds an internal USB port where the Bluetooth dongle can be installed. I guess you could plug in things like the unifying USB receiver from Logitech and save a USB port on the computer for other peripherals too.
