Canon Unveils New Printers for Home and Office

Canon has announced three new printers for its Pixma line including the MP990, MP640, and the ix7000. The Canon ix7000 is a printer that is aimed at office users offering the ability to make professional looking documents and reducing printing costs. The printer handles paper as large as 11 x 17 or 13 x 19. The ink used in the printer is clear and there are five pigment tanks to color it. The printer sells for $399.99.
The MP990 and MP640 printers are both all in one designs that are intended for home users needing to print photos and other items. Both of them feature Auto Photo Fix II. Canon also added a new photo printer to its line called the Selphy ES40.
The ES40 is a compact photo printer that is portable and easy to use. The printer has a 3.5-inch LCD and offers an Easy Scroll wheel for navigating menus. The device has a creative print function and will sell for $149.99. The products are compatible with Windows 7 according to Canon.
