Sony Reader Daily Edition With 3G Connectivity Unveiled

Sony today announced the third member of its new Reader family – the Reader Daily Edition, a wireless eBook reader with 3G connectivity. The Daily Edition caps its new line of Reader products, joining the Reader Pocket Edition and the Reader Touch Edition which were announced earlier this month.
Like the Amazon Kindle Sony does not charge a service fee. The 3G connectivity is delivered by AT&T.
Other features of the Sony Reader Daily Edition include a 7-inch wide, touch screen display. 2GB of internal memory to hold thousands of eBooks, and expansion slots for memory cards.
Employs 16 levels of grayscale which ensures that text and images are crisp and easy to read
The Daily Edition also boasts an attractive aluminum body with an integrated cover for durability.
The new Sony Reader Daily Edition will be available this December for $399.
Sony also unveiled new content deals and offers the Sony Library Finder application that lets you electronically lend books. Also announced today got the Sony Words Move Me site, which is a destination empowering readers to share their favorite moments from the literature they love.
