If you're on the Verizon network and not quite ready to make the switch over to a smartphone, Samsung has a couple of new feature phones heading your way next month. The Samsung Rogue and Intensity will join Verizon on September 8 (thanks, Boy Genius Neither of these new phones has the 'wow' potential of, say, Samsung's I7500, but they're both solid, well designed mobile phones.
The u960 Rogue is a touchscreen, QWERTY slider with a 3 megapixel camera, EV-DO and GPS connectivity. The u450 also sports a sliding QWERTY keyboard, 1.3 megapixel camera, and Bluetooth. The Rogue is quite nice for a feature phone, but it's not exactly cheap either. $99.99 after a $100 mail-in rebate makes this one of the more expensive feature phones around. By contrast, the Intensity will only set you back $29.99 after a $50 rebate. Both of these prices assume a two-year contract.
