We have heard a bit about the new Logitech Squeezebox Touch and Squeezebox Radio Wi-Fi before. Logitech has got official with the two players now. The Squeezebox Touch and Radio are both Wi-Fi music players designed to allow users to play music from subscription services, internet radio, and personal digital files.
The Squeezebox Radio promises easy set up with the user just needing to plug it in and turn it on. The device measures 5.12" x 8.66" x 5.04" and offers a 3/4" HD dome tweeter and a 3" long throw woofer. An optional rechargeable battery pack lets users take the player around the house with them.
The Squeezebox Touch has a large color touchscreen that lets users locate radio stations, playlists, or music services. The device also allows users to share music recommendations, check statuses, and view photos right on the Squeezebox player. The Radio Wi-Fi will sell for $199.99 and ship in September with the accessory battery and remote selling for $49.99. The Touch will sell for $299.99 and ship in December.
