Apple today announced the new iPod touch lineup starting at the new low price of just $199.
The 8GB iPod touch is now available for just $199, along with new models which deliver twice the capacity for the same price, with the iPod touch 32GB model for $299 and 64GB model for $399.
If you have waited for Apple to integrate a camera in the iPod touch you have been disappointed. Only the new iPod nano 5G now has a video camera. Maybe the earlier rumors of Apple having trouble with camera modules are true.
At least if you buy an iPod touch now it comes pre-loaded with the new iPhone 3.1 software, saving you another $10.
More details on the Apple Store.
