iGo has announced that its cool Anywhere Netbook Charger will be offered in Verizon Wireless stores. This is to allow shoppers who opt for one of Verizon's subsidized netbook data plans to grab the charger at the store.
The cool feature of the charger is that it has tips that allow it to power the netbook from the AC outlet in the home or office, the DC outlet in the car, and the power port on an airplane. This makes the charger perfect for the frequent traveler.
The charger sells for about $70 and only has enough juice for a netbook; larger notebooks can’t use the charger. The charger also works worldwide so no voltage converter is needed.
