Bose is a big name in the audio and home theater market and the company has unveiled its latest product called the SoundDock 10 digital music system. The dock measures 9" H x 17" W x 10" D and has new and existing Bose technology inside including a new version of the Bose waveguide technology that is debuting for the first time inside the device.
The new wave guide is reduced in size from 75" to 52" without affecting performance. The new waveguide is also matched with a new Bose woofer exclusive to the SoundDock 10 system. The system is made more compact by integrating the switching power system inside the case.
The SoundDock 10 is Works with iPod and Works with iPhone certified for the iPhone, iPod with click wheel and touch. An auxiliary input is offered to allow connecting of other iPod and PMP models. A video output also lets users play video on their TV while using the Bose for sound. The SoundDock 10 sells for $599 and an optional Bluetooth interchangeable dock is available for $149. Bose SoundDock 10 is on sale on Amazon.com.
