I'd like to preface this one by stating that any "analyst predictions" should be taken with a big ol' grain of salt. Anyway, Android and Me reports that Global Equities Research has claimed that Motorola will release as many as 10 Android phones in the next 6-10 months. Prices on these phones will vary from $39 to $399.

What this says to me, if true, is that Moto is really going through with their decision to pin everything on the Android operating system. It looks like they plan to release a whole spectrum of high and low cost phones, all on the same OS. Some of these phones will be dirt cheap, minimalist Boost Mobile pieces, while others will be at least on the same playing field as the Palm Pre, iPhone 3GS, and Sholes.
