Are you into extreme sports, like water-skiing or dolphin-taunting or snorkeling in shark-infested water with open wounds? If so, have you ever wanted a wearable camera to take with you on your exploits in order to capture them for posterity? Well now you can, thanks to MotionTouch and Predator Technology, the two companies that collaborated together to make the VX360.
In short, the VX360 is a waterproof wearable video camera. It can stand being submerged up to three meters in water, and the manufacturer's claim it is tough enough to survive smacking into rocks. The whole product consists of a recording unit, which is worn on the arm and has large buttons for ease-of-use, as well as an LCD screen for video playback. The camera is a separate item and is meant to be worn around the head.
To learn more about the Predator VX360, you can check out the website here. It goes for roughly $900 USD, ouch. There's no denying this is a seriously nifty camcorder, but I'm not sure it's worth that kind of scratch. We'll have to wait for some reviews to see what sort of image quality this thing has.
