The Linux camp is ramping up their netbook activities before Microsoft will unleash the Windows 7 netbook Tsunami in October.
IDG (on PCWorld) reports that new Linux netbooks running Linux Moblin are unveiled at the Intel Developer conference IDF 2009, which starts tomorrow.
"You're going to see this week interesting new netbooks coming out that are killer. They have the cool factor and they're priced right," said Jim Zemlin, executive director of the Linux Foundation.

Microsoft is a tough competitor and the company will do everything to not give Linux another chance on the new netbook generation. Rember that in the netbook beginnings Linux was the OS of choice, because it is free.
Obviously Microsoft will try to get more money for Windows 7 licenses than they got for Windows XP. It is actually great for netbook makers that Linux is still trying to gain back the market share they once had to have something to negotiate with MS.
