Today I am checking out a new home automation system from Schlage, yeah the lock people. The kit I am playing with includes a wireless deadbolt, a programmable thermostat, and a wireless camera.

The system is relatively easy to install and works very well. Once everything is connected you can unlock your door from anywhere in the world and view the live camera footage from your security cam.
