I have an iPod alarm clock on the side of my bed. I used it to charge my original iPhone and now I use it to charge my iPhone 3G S. I gave my son my old iPhone to use as a portable game console. That means that each time I want to charge his iPhone I have to plug it into my computer. I am sure there are other homes out there with more than one iPhone or iPod that need charged each night.
iHome has announced a new alarm clock for the bedside that has dual iPod docks called the iP88. The docks can charge and play music from two different iPhones or iPods at once. Any dockable iPod will work with the clock and it includes adapters for the thinner iPods that need smaller slots.
The clock has three alarms and can wake you to music from the AM/FM radio or your iPod or to a buzzer. The buttons are backlit and a wireless remote is included as well. The clock is available now for $149.99.
