With Breast Cancer Awareness Month in full swing, many electronics manufacturers are helping support the cause by donating to various cancer research organizations. Sony has announced that it will be donating to breast cancer research for $110,000.

To raise the money for the donation Sony is offering a couple, special edition products, naturally pink in color. Sony has offered a Pink W Series mini notebook PC Bundle that includes the notebook, a mouse, and what appears to be a pink case.

Sony is also offering a rose color Reader Pocket Edition eReader. Sony isn’t clear on what part of its sales of the special edition gear will go to cancer research, but the $110K will be welcome by researchers I am sure.
