Alright, iRiver might not be as big a name as Apple, and their new B30 PMP sure doesn't have all the glitz and glamor of the Zune HD, but it's still a solid-looking media player. Engadget reports that it's about to go on sale for £139 over in the UK.
For that price, you get a DAB radio with RPG recording, a 2.8" QVGA touchscreen, a microSD slot, and a battery that delivers an estimated 40 hours of audio, or 6 hours of video. There are two sizes to choose from; 8 GB at the price listed above, or 16 GB. The pricing on the larger model has not been released yet.
I really like the design of this new iRiver. It's basically a slender, black monolith with a touchscreen and a small assortment of buttons. The most striking feature of the B30 is the adorable little radio antennae that sticks up out of the top.
