Hey iPhone users, if your phone hasn't already warned you there's another update for the iPhone on the loose. That's right, iPhone OS 3.1.2 hit the scene late yesterday. Just plug your phone into your computer, open up iTunes, and click the update button to get it.
This new update fixes a sporadic issue (I did not encounter it on my iPhone) that caused iPhones to not wake from sleep, as well as a glitch that interrupted network services until the phone was restarted. 3.1.2 also fixed a bug that caused crashes during video streaming. In addition, this upgrade also included a carrier update, which brought AT&T up to 5.6.
So far there are no reports of 3.1.2 breaking any apps or functions. We'll let you know if an issue develops.
