The TomTom Car Kit For the iPhone has been listed on the Apple UK store before, but only today TomTom has officially announced the availability of the TomTom Car Kit For iPhone.
The TomTom car kit for iPhone is available in Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Germany, Finland, France, Ireland, Italy, Luxemburg, Norway, Portugal, Spain, the Netherlands, the UK, Sweden and Switzerland.

TomTom says in the announcement that the car kit will be available in the US on the TomTom web store and in US Apple online and retail stores in the near future.
The TomTom car kit's built-in receiver increases the GPS performance of your iPhone to give you a truly reliable signal - even in high-rise urban areas.
Other features of the TomTom Car Kit for Apple iPhone include Secure mount for iPhone, built-in speaker, integrated microphone, iPhone charging, and AUX OUT port.
The price in Europe is 99.99 Euro.

The TomTom iPhone navigation software has been available in iTunes since August.
