Epson has unveiled a new compact photo printer called the PictureMate Charm. The printer is a portable personal photo studio for users who want to print photos out on the go. The inks used in the printer promise to be good for 96 years under glass and over 200 years in a dark album.
The printer has a 2.5-inch LCD screen and can do basic photo editing within the printer like red eye removal and choose from B&W, sepia, or color prints. The device will print from all memory card formats and has built-in memory card slots.
Options for the printer include a Bluetooth adapter for wireless prints. The Bluetooth adapter allows users to print from cell phones without needing wires or memory cards. Prints produced are 4 x 6 and the machine has an optional rechargeable battery. The printer will ship on October 20th for $149.99.
