Shure makes all kinds of headphones for different types of users. For the consumer they have a complete line of headphones that work with music phones and MP3 players. For the audiophile they have larger and more ornate sets of headphones that let you hear all the nuances of your tunes. Shure also has a new set of headphones aimed directly at the pro DJ called the SRH750DJ Professional DJ Headphones.
The headphones have custom 50mm drivers that are tuned for bass production and a 3000 mW maximum input to allow for connectivity with DJ mixers. The headset is adjustable and collapsible with ear cups that swivel 90 degrees for comfort and placement on a single ear.
The cable is removable and replaceable and uses a bayonet clip and the ear cup pads are replaceable as well. The cable itself is 10 feet long and the headphones include a carry bag to protect them. The headphones will ship in November for $149.99.
