Earlier this month we reported about a rumored October 25th launch date for the new BlackBerry Storm 2.
The NY Times runs a story today about the Storm 2 that says Verizon Wireless and RIM will unveil the Storm 2 already this week.

Verizon CEO Lowell C. McAdam is already using the Storm 2 since a couple weeks shares an anecdote in the NY Times article that gives hope that the Storm 2 is actually a winner, maybe also with reviewers. Remember how the tech press hammered the first Storm? Quote: "I let them play with the second-generation Storm device, Mr. McAdam said. "They came back and said ‘Oh, my gosh.’ They were very excited. This is what they hoped the original Storm should be."
