Canon issued a firmware update for the new Canon 7D. Canon announced the new Canon Eos 7D DSLR camera in early September and it is now on sale on Amazon.com.
The mid-range DSLR Canon EOS 7D features 8fps continuous shooting, 8MP resolution and full HD video recording with variable frame rates and manual exposure control.
The new Canon 7D Firmware update version 1.0.9 incorporates the following fixes and improvements (download):
1. Improves AF accuracy during Live View shooting.
2. Corrects a phenomenon where in rare instances, movie
images shot by the camera may exhibit abnormal colors.
3. Corrects a phenomenon that at certain timings, the shutter cannot
be released when the camera's built-in flash or an external Speedlite
is used for shooting.
