Well BlackBerry fans, the Bold is here. Both T-Mobile and AT&T have announced that this new RIM smartphone is available on their carrier. First up, details on the smartphone itself. The Bold has a 3.2 MP camera, a 624 MHz processor, 256 MB of flash memory, and A-GPS. It also boasts a touch sensitive trackpad, and the traditional BlackBerry QWERTY keyboard. The Bold has 3G capability, along with WiFi.
AT&T customers can find the Bold here. It comes loaded with AT&T Visual Voicemail for free. With an additional data plan, the Bold 9700 can be used as a 3G modem for your laptop computer. (Of course AT&T makes you pay to tether) The Bold will be available in the "coming weeks" for $199.99 after a $100 mail-in rebate.
Over with T-Mo the situation is a little different. They include a 2GB memory card (although the 9700's SD slot can handle up to 32 GB) for you to fill with apps, music, and video. You can check out T-Mobile's Bold website here. This new smartphone will be out in time for the holiday season, although no exact information has been given yet.
