Burger King Windows 7 Whopper: Kill It With Fire

Alright, it's official. Advertising has gone too far. I don't mind Google combing my emails in order to target me with better ads, I don't mind laughable attempts by corporations to create Internet memes, and I don't even mind embedded ads in the text of web articles. That stuff is just the price we pay for a ridiculous amount of free Internet content.
But I do have an issue with one of Microsoft's new Windows 7 advertising attempts. As AppleInsider notes, they have quite a few. There's a Windows 7 Family Guy episode on the way, and I'm fine with that. Microsoft is decorating a Spanish village named Sietes ("Seven") and giving free copies of their OS to a Dutch town called Zevenhuizen ("Seven Houses"). Both of those things are fine as well, even kind of cute.
What I have a problem with is the Windows 7 Whopper, which launched exclusively in Japan today. This burger has SEVEN, count them, SEVEN, patties for 777 yen ($8.53). The idea of such a concoction is disturbing enough, but the actual picture...urgh. The thought of human beings cramming this soggy mountain of meat and grease into their gullets is enough to make me weak at the knees. I would call the Windows 7 burger a crime against God, but its very existence is proof against the existence of a divine creator.
Why, Microsoft and Burger King? Why would you do this to people? Aren't enough people dying of heart attacks already?
