Black Friday 2009

Possibly the most anticipated Black Friday deals are TV deals. The problem is that it's tough to find a real deal and actually get your hands on it.
Retailers like to lead with TV sales and offer them as doorbusters and early bird specials. Often the number of available TVs at the Black Friday price is very limited.
Additionally prices are already fluctuating heavily on TVs weeks before Black Friday. The biggest savings are likely on lower end TVs or on lesser known brands. It really helps to decide beforehand which TV you actually want to get this Holidays to be able to find the best deal.
You should check the price of your favorite TV set now as an anchor point. Then over the coming weeks scan the Black Friday ads on the various Black Friday Sites to see if prices will actually be lower.
If you have the patience you might want to sit still on Black Friday and wait for Cyber Monday to find an even better deal on your dream TV.

A major brand to look out for on Black Friday 2009 is Samsung. Samsung has a nice TV line-up and great deals on Samsung TVs can already be had on Amazon for instance.
The hot TV trends are Internet connectivity (Netflix) and LED backlit LCD displays. Both things you only find in high-end TV sets. Plasma is also not dead. If you want a big flat screen, check out Plasma. I still prefer its image quality (e.g.: Samsung PN58B860). By the way the TV shown in the photo above is the ultimate Samsung LED TV: UN55B8000.

We will be tracking the most interesting Black Friday TV deals leading up to Black Friday. Stay tuned, the deal hunting has just begun. More Black Friday Deal News.
